Big Horn Light Weight Haflinger Saddle, Extra Wide

Designed exclusively for Horse saddle outlets, this Big Horn Haflinger saddle cannot be found anywhere else. Although there are other Haflinger saddles on the market, you’ll have a hard time finding one with a short, round skirt, which better fits a Haflinger conformation.

Now that we have verified the fit and function of this saddle, it’s time to expand the variety! Now you get to decide on the leather color, tooling pattern, seat material, and a matching headstall to create a saddle that is unique to you!

Built on a Steele EquiFit fiberglass covered wood tree designed specifically for Draft and Haflingers and featuring stainless on-tree rigging in the 7/8 position. The extra wide Haflinger tree is one of our best options for a wide variety of Draft, Haflinger, Fjords, and Gypsy Vanner horses.

The weight saving cordura material that’s used on the skirt and fenders holds up well to the elements and makes this a cinch to toss over a large Haflinger at only 22lbs.

Big Horn uses a high-quality leather on the jockey, pommel, and cantle where this saddle receives the most abuse. You’ll love the unique scallop cut on the jockeys and quilted stitching on the fenders and skirt.

Experience a soothing ride in the plush double padded distressed leather or grainout seat. And the seat has a narrower twist than most other saddles of this type, making it extremely comfortable to ride! Some riders prefer to go up a seat size because of the extra padding in the seat.
